Central London

£13 - £14 per hour

6-8 weeks

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Membership officer to work with a dynamic fast-paced organisation based in the heart of Central London. This organisation works with their Members to help them become exemplary leaders and support their professional development. The ideal candidate will be a natural self-starter, confident managing competing priorities, with a proactive approach to their work.

What will my responsibilities be?

  • Actively manage new, renewing and exiting members
  • First point of contact for all membership related enquiries
  • Manage the collection of member data in line with GDPR requirements
  • Manage the CRM including system administration, data entry and reporting
  • Manage the direct debit process and collection of payments via PayPal and ensure the accurate recording of payments in the CRM
  • Coordinate membership mailings in conjunction with the communications team to engage current and prospective members

What do I need to be successful in this post?

  • At least 18 months experience within a membership environment
  • Experience of data management using databases and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to communicate at all levels and across a range of audiences with ease
  • Knowledge and experience of managing direct debit, PayPal or other similar finance systems
  • Successfully establishes and develops relationships with individuals and groups
  • Experience in researching, analysing and classifying information so that it can be used for appropriate purposes
